Parenting Education and Parenting Skills Training
Adapted from Bill Corbett's "Love, Limits & Lessons" curriculum, the 9-hour parenting course is dedicated to helping parents, caregivers, teachers, and providers understand why children and adolescents behave and misbehave. It is a step by step discipline plan that includes reaction steps when misbehavior occurs and proactive techniques to use when it's not. Participants will learn:
- The 4 basic skills every parent/caregiver needs for raising cooperative kids
- The 5 foundational concepts of discipline
- The 8 life skills your child must learn to live a happy life
Specialized Parenting Classes
- Parentng skills class in Spanish
- Parenting skills class for an individual or family
- Ongoing parent support groups
